The 70-story residential tower anchors the southeast corner of Hudson Yards East at 30th Street and 11th Avenue. Utilizing cold-bent glass to achieve its shape, 15 Hudson Yards challenges conventional material expressions of glass and the archetypal image of the crystalline glass tower. The resulting surface softens the tower and complements The Shed; glass here is expressed as fluid and supple. Morphing into a quatre leaf at the top, the tower is shaped to maximize panoramic views in all directions. The solid stone lobby extends the entire first floor, framing a view of the adjacent High Line. The tower is designed to LEED gold standards. Designed in collaboration with Rockwell Group.
